9. The Houston Rockets select Cody Williams

Williams wasn’t great in the NCAA tournament but is still profiled as a versatile defender who can finish around the rim and make plays. It doesn’t hurt that his brother Jalen Williams has been a star for OKC and that the two have similar skills even though Cody is taller. Also like his brother, we may end up asking how he fell this far, as big, versatile forwards who can defend are always going to have value.
