4 Biggest questions from Pistons Summer League
#3: Can Bobi Klintman shoot his way into the rotation?
Bobi Klintman had an interesting Summer League and did one thing particularly well, which is shoot the 3-ball.
Klintman knocked down just under 42 percent of his 6.2 attempts per game from long range and even though there are some obvious flaws in his game, you can see the possibilities of a guy who is nearly 6-foot-10 and can shoot.
He also showed some passing chops, racking up nearly four assists per game with a couple of slick dimes.
The question is whether he can do anything else, as he shot just 42 percent overall and most of his points came from behind the arc.
Even if he has limitations around the rim or on defense, a guy his size shooting 40 percent from long range is eventually going to get into the rotation. Klintman is likely to start the season in the G-League but I wouldn’t be shocked to see him get some run next season, especially if he keeps shooting like this.
I’m already more excited about Klintman than I was any second-round pick during the Troy Weaver era.
