Davion Mitchell- Sacramento Kings

Davion Mitchell is a sneaky trade target because he subtly improved his 3-point shot over the past few years. Though he is a shorter guard at 6-feet flat, his 200+ lb weight and bulldog style of defense help him play larger than what he is. Though his defense is much needed in Sacramento, the Kings offensive pace made it possible for players like Malik Monk and other taller more offensive oriented guards to have a larger role.

With his role in Sacramento diminished, he could see an uptick in play time in Detroit. Though Detroit shouldn't be in the market for another guard, his defense and shooting could be a great benefit for the Pistons as a primary point of attack defender and respectable 3-point shooter. Detroit runs enough screeners in their lineups for Mitchell to get open shots and run around screens, but his defensive ability is something that will instanly get him playing time for one of the worst defenses in the NBA.
