3 Best bets to make on the Detroit Pistons next season

Most Improved Player: Cade Cunningham (+2000)
We’ve touched on this in previous weeks, but Cade Cunningham appearing on the Most Improved Player list should come to the surprise of no one. Since getting healthy, Cade has done nothing but impress as he carried the weight of an entire franchise last year.
Improving on his third year numbers of 22.7 ppg, 7.5 apg, 4.3 rpg, and 35% 3PT might seem like a tall task, but this season will be the first in which Cade has complementary pieces around him to fully maximize his talents. This, plus the looming threat/decision of a rookie extension now being behind him, we could very well see his play rise to All-Star level and earn him MIP.
The field for this one mostly comes down to Evan Mobley or possibly Jalen Johnson. Both players could push Cunningham for MIP, but, if the roster Trajan has put together does what they are supposed to, Cade will be right there with them. Give me Cade as MIP for +2000.
