The Detroit Pistons are favored at home on Monday despite the fact that they’ve lost 13 straight games.

That’s right, the Pistons are slight favorites against the Washington Wizards, who have the worst defense in the NBA this season.

When facing a terrible defense, it’s usually a good sign for some OVERs in the prop market, and I have two in this game that I like for the Pistons.

Let’s dive into the picks for this game, and a promo offer from FanDuel to help you get started betting on them.

Wizards vs. Pistons best NBA prop bets

  • Ausar Thompson OVER 8.5 rebounds
  • Jaden Ivey OVER 16.5 points
  • Jordan Poole OVER 18.5 points

Ausar Thompson OVER 8.5 rebounds

This is a discounted line for rookie wing Ausar Thompson, who has failed to clear it in each of his last two games.

Luckily, this is a prime bounce-back spot, as the Wizards are 30th in the NBA in rebounding percentage.

Thompson is averaging 9.8 rebounds per game this season, and he’s grabbed at least nine boards in nine of his 16 contests.

Jaden Ivey OVER 16.5 points

It’s almost like Jaden Ivey should have been starting for the Pistons this whole season.

In three starts this season, the former lottery pick has nine , 17 and 25 points, shooting 16-for-24 from the field over his last two games.

Ivey proved as a rookie that he could score the ball at a high rate, but his playing time earlier this season was very inconsistent. He should take a step forward against a Washington team that is dead last in the NBA in defensive rating.

Jordan Poole OVER 18.5 points

Jordan Poole is questionable for this game, but if he does play, he should be in line for another high-scoring game.

Poole has put up 30, 24 and 26 points in his last three games, taking at least 20 shots in each of those contests.

He is going to be volatile in the prop market since he’s shooting under 40 percent from the field and under 30 percent from 3, but Poole’s volume alone makes him a threat to score 20 every night.
