#5: Detroit Pistons vs. Memphis Grizzlies, April 9, 2019: 22 points

This was the last season that the Pistons didn't have a losing record, as they went 42-42 and needed this one to sneak into the playoffs just to get swept by the Bucks.

This was also the beginning of the end for Blake Griffin, who was only able to play 18 minutes on a leg that was rapidly falling off.

Andre Drummond had a monster game for Detroit, with 20 points, 17 rebounds, five steals and three blocks. Games like this are why I cringe when some idiot fans actually boo Drummond in Detroit. Why? This man had some huge games for the Pistons, and it's not his fault the team stupidly tried to build around him just as the 3-point era was dawning. Show Andre some love. I hope the Pistons bring him back so he can end his career in Detroit on a high note.

#4: Detroit Pistons vs. Utah Jazz, January 10, 2022: 22 points

It's wild that almost all of these games are in the contemporary era, as it shows just how much the 3-point shot has changed the game. No lead is safe when teams are firing 40 from long-range per game.

When the Pistons, who were just 9-30 at the time, fell behind 54-32 in the 2nd quarter this one looked all but over, but Cade Cunningham and Saddiq Bey had different ideas.

The two scored 29 points apiece (Cade also added eight assists, two steals and two blocks) and combined for 10-of-16 from long range. They also got 14 points, six rebounds and five assists from Trey Lyles (why did they trade him for Marvin Bagley III again?) as well as 16 points from my man Corey Joseph, blowing out the Jazz in the second half and winning the game by 10 points.
