Bojan Bogdanovic to the New York Knicks: Makes sense

The New York Knicks might be the best destination for Bojan Bogdanovic and there is a perfect trade sitting there waiting to happen.

After they made the move for OG Anunoby, the Knicks are interested in going for it this season and adding another solid shooter would help their cause.

They also have multiple first-round picks in 2024, including their own, the Pistons' as well as one from Dallas. In addition, the Knicks have a big expiring contract in Evan Fournier that they could send with a first-round pick.

If the Pistons could get Fournier and their own pick back, or even one of the Knicks' lesser picks, they should consider it.

Again, it's not all about the pick in terms of the draft, but it allows the Pistons to make bigger trades, which is going to be difficult to do this summer without an extra pick at their disposal.

Other teams like the Lakers and Mavericks will likely come calling, but they too are short of draft picks, manageable contracts and/or young talent to send back.

So the "will they, won't they" game continues with Bojan Bogdanovic as another trade deadline approaches. Will he be in Detroit after February?
