I could believe just about anything when it comes to the Detroit Pistons at the trade deadline.

My gut says they won't do anything major, but with pressure mounting around GM Troy Weaver, I wouldn't rule out some kind of desperation move that will leave plenty to argue about.

I also wouldn't rule out that the Pistons do nothing at all, so any prediction in this context isn't "bold" per se, as anything can happen, but I will give it a shot anyway.

3 Bold (not really) predictions for the Detroit Pistons at the trade deadline

Bojan Bogdanovic will not be traded

Whether it's because they don't want to carry the shame of being the worst team in NBA history, or they think Bogdanovic is part of the future, the Pistons will resist the temptation to move Bogey for a poo-poo platter of expiring contracts and second-round picks.

They may regret this, as Bogdanovic has been injury-prone the last two seasons and isn't getting any younger.

Then again, his contract could be useful in a bigger offseason trade and the same uninspiring trade packages that are available for him now will likely be there when we do this again at the next trade deadline.

Philadelphia is the latest reported team to show interest, so it is possible we will still see Bogdanovic moved if their entry into the fray causes a minor bidding war, but I am still betting against it.

Now for some players who won't be around on Friday.
