The Detroit Pistons should trade Bojan Bogdanovic

-He'll be 35 years old next season and has had injury issues in the last two seasons.
-He is a terrible defender on a team with a bad defense.
-If he gets hurt again, he's a sunk cost on an expiring deal and the Pistons could end up with nothing.
-He hasn't helped the team win.
-He could net a first-round pick in a trade, which the Pistons could use to facilitate the bigger trades they need.
-Detroit can't just keep doing the same thing and expect anything to change.

The long and short of it is this: If Bojan Bogdanovic is your starting small forward and Alec Burks is your best bench player, your team is probably not going to be good.

If they can be pushed into more suitable roles (6th man for Bogey, 7-9 for Burks), they are valuable players, so the Pistons have to add talent if they want Bogdanovic and Burks to matter.

Because of contracts, keeping Bogdanovic is a safer bet, and if I had to guess, I'd say the Pistons will move on from Burks and keep Bojan. Make the right additions and they are great, do nothing else and we'll be right back again here next season.
