5 Detroit Pistons who need monster second halves to save their jobs
Mike Muscala
The offense took over for a brief moment when Muscala was getting solid bench minutes, but Monty Williams quickly put a stop to that.
On one hand, we already know what Muscala can do, as he is a veteran whose game is familiar around the league. On the other, he's the sort of stretch five the Pistons will need moving forward and has been a positive influence on their young roster just by being a veteran who knows where to stand, so I'd love to see him play over James Wiseman.
I'd like to see the Pistons bring him back on a similar minimum deal to be the third center next season, but I'd also like to see him play more with the core now so that we can get an idea of how it will work.
He doesn't have to start or play 30 minutes a night, but he needs to play and continue to show how he can help this team. This one is more on Monty than Moose.
