Detroit Pistons free agency rumors 

Last night’s mega trade of Mikal Bridges to the Knicks might have opened a few doors for the Detroit Pistons in free agency. 

If the Knicks still want OG Anunoby, it’s going to be tough for them to also bring back Isaiah Hartenstein, who might be a nice fit for the Pistons on a short-term deal with big annual salary. 

Bridges could also signal that Anunoby isn’t coming back, in which case, he should be on Detroit’s radar. 

But this trade also affects the Brooklyn Nets, who are now rebuilding for real with the nine picks they eventually got for dealing Kevin Durant. 

Does that make it less likely they’ll bring back Nic Claxton in free agency? 

He’s another possible target for the Pistons and it may be more likely that he is out there now that the Nets have clearly taken a step back.
