John Collins

Collins has been mentioned as a possibility for Detroit many times over the years as Atlanta was trying to get off his contract, which no longer looks as bad.

He put up a fairly efficient 15 points and eight rebounds for Utah last season and has shown over the years that he’s a power forward who can spread the floor, something the Pistons could use.

The Jazz are loaded at the position and trying to extend Lauri Markkanen this summer, so could try to move Collins in favor of the much-cheaper Taylor Hendricks.

Collins and Cunningham share an agent, so if he hits the market, his name could come up again for the Detroit Pistons.

Tyler Herro

If the Miami Heat want to make serious moves this summer, Herro is probably their best trade chip, as he’s owed over $90 million over the next three seasons.

Detroit could use a secondary scoring option and Herro has proven he can be at least that, though he doesn’t do much else. He’s a high-volume bucket and a player Miami will keep unless they need that money to chase a star this summer.

He’s another guy that Cunningham shares an agent with, so again, if Miami puts him on the market, Detroit might get a crack at him.
