Brandon Ingram

Brandon Ingram has been rumored to the Pistons so many times over the last few months that I have gone back and forth about whether he’s a good idea.

At his best, Ingram is a bucket, a player who demands double teams who is almost impossible to stop when he’s cooking on the baseline, high post or mid-range.

At his worst, he’s a guy who is always injured and hasn’t won much in the league even though he’s been on some good teams, albeit ones that have consistently been doomed by injuries.

There are some questions about his fit with Cade (who shares the same agent) though if you look deeper into Ingram’s numbers, you’ll see that he shot and made a lot more 3-point shots when playing with an actual point guard, something he hasn’t often had in his career.

Ingram would help Detroit, but we’ll have to see about the cost. Also, Trajan Langdon was his most-recent GM and did not offer him an extension, so who knows how he feels about BI.
