Pistons trading for Tobias Harris

Harris will be unrestricted at the end of the season, so he's another guy that the Pistons could just wait for.

I also don't see why Philly would want to trade him, especially to the Pistons.

Harris is playing 33 minutes per night on one of the Eastern Conference's best teams. His 3-point shooting is down slightly but he's a consistent 16-point-per-game scorer.

If Philadelphia doesn't think he's a long-term fit and decides to trade him, it's hard to see them doing it unless they get back a player or two who can help them now. Philly wants to win a title while Joel Embiid is playing out of his mind, they aren't going to take just young players.

Bojan Bogdanovic and Joe Harris get you there salary-wise, but is that enough for Philly? Swapping Bogdanovic for Tobias Harris is a lateral move for the Pistons that doesn't move the needle much if at all, especially since he could just leave in free agency anyway.

Given the context, both of these players seem like long shots for the Detroit Pistons, as they may not have the best offer for Anunoby and Harris doesn't make a lot of sense.
