3 Detroit Pistons who have stepped up offensively during all the losing
By Tyler Dutton
Jalen Duren
Jalen Duren has gone through the same injury bug that Alec Burks had to start his second season, but not the struggles since returning. After a promising first few games, Duren has battled ankle injury after ankle injury. When healthy, Jalen Duren is a walking double-double. Unfortunately, that seems to be a rarity this season.
Over his last four games, since returning from his most recent ankle injury, Duren has provided a spark for this offense. He is providing almost 15 points and 15 rebounds on a nightly basis, and invaluable energy. His availability over the past four games has renewed Cade Cunningham and the rest of the roster. His returning and Detroit snapping their losing streak was not a coincidence.
Duren has recorded five straight double doubles since returning from injury while shootig 67 percent from the floor overall and 94 percent from the free-throw line, a place he is seeing much more in recent games. The Pistons need Duren to continue to give them points as well as rebounds.
