The Detroit Pistons' season has been an unmitigated disaster, culminating with Isaiah Stewart getting arrested before a recent game against the Phoenix Suns.

I already wrote about the situation and some of the rhetoric around it, but we still haven't seen the footage, and if TMZ doesn't have it by now, we might not.

The absence of any video evidence has led to plenty of speculation, ranging from the punch being "light," and disbelief that Drew Eubanks had to get the police involved.

To be fair, I doubt Eubanks had much to do with that part, as this all took place in the tunnel and I'm sure there were plenty of witnesses, including Suns' security.

We don't normally see NBA scraps end up with a visit to jail, although this one did not take place on the court. That didn't stop Draymond Green from using Drew Eubanks as the butt of a joke aimed at Charles Barkley during the All-Star game.

Green and Barkley traded jibes throughout the broadcast of the All-Star game, which was so boring they had to fill the time insulting each other.

At one point, Barkley challenged Green to "knock him out" so that he could "take your ass to court and get more than that 50 grand." Draymond didn't miss a beat and said, "Ok, Drew Eubanks," which got a big laugh.

Green and Isaiah Stewart have had their own run-ins over the years, but it's pretty clear where Draymond stands on the issue.

I'm not sure having Draymond on your side is a good thing, as he's has plenty of unhinged behavior of his own, which is probably why he sympathizes with Isaiah Stewart.

I'm hoping the NBA makes less of it than the Phoenix PD did, as the Detroit Pistons need Stewart for the home stretch to see how he fits with their new cast of players.

But we are likely looking at a lengthy suspension for Beef Stew, who got more than a technical foul for allegedly punching Drew Eubanks.
