This may seem a strange selection for a team that already has their point guard, as Castle would like to be one himself. 

But his defense and intangibles play next to LaMelo Ball, who is not a good defender. The Hornets need some toughness and winning pedigree, which Castle also brings. 

He gives them a dawg defender to put between Ball and Miller as well as some insurance against injuries.
