Fixing the Detroit Pistons' roster: The wings and forwards

This is another position where the Pistons need a big influx of talent, as Isaiah Stewart and Isaiah Livers are not cutting it at power forward and the Pistons need some wings who can shoot.

Ausar Thompson is going to be one of the best defenders in the NBA, so they have a good start, but his shooting is a long way off, so they need some complementary wings that can shoot.

OG Anunoby would be a good start, but the problem is that past the top, there aren't a lot of great options. There are some role players like Torrey Craig, Yuta Watanabe, Naji Marshall and our old friend Saddiq Bey.

Outside of Anunoby, there are few realistic options on the wing in free agency, so hopefully they can make a trade for someone at the deadline.

Pascal Siakam is the most interesting free-agent power forward but has some troubling red flags. His shooting has regressed this season, especially from long range and his numbers are down across the board.

I'd be more inclined to try and steal Obi Toppin in restricted free agency, and bring in some veterans like Kelly Olynyk and Robert Covington than to max out Siakam.
