Fixing the Detroit Pistons' roster: The revamp

It's clear that the Pistons have a lot of work to do to make this a functioning roster, and that it's not going to be easy.

They need to land at least two impact players and then fill out their bench with complementary role players. But by the end of next offseason, they could have a team that looked like this:

-Cade Cunningham/Killian Hayes/Monte Morris

-Buddy Hield/KCP

-OG Anunoby/Ausar Thompson

-Obi Toppin/Torrey Craig

-Jalen Duren,/Isaiah Stewart/Mason Plumlee

Is this a great team? I doubt it, but it at least makes sense, as you'd have good shooters around Cade Cunningham in Hield, KCP, Anunoby, Morris and Craig. This team would also be able to get after it defensively with KCP, OG and Ausar on the perimeter, still be very athletic and have a nice balance of young players and veterans around Cade.

The problem is that it's extremely unlikely this is all going to happen, and they may not even have the money to do it, but this is the type of revamp the Pistons need, as they can't go into next season with most of their current roster and expect anything to be different. Whether they are these changes and additions or any of the hundreds of possible permutations, the Pistons need change.
