Jeremiah Robinson-Earl

Robinson-Earl is a versatile forward with size who is a bit of a tweener, as he's not quite quick enough to guard wings and not quite big enough to be a power forward.

But he's a tough team defender who hustles and has a high basketball IQ, as you will see from most players that come out of Villanova.

JRE is playing sparingly for the Pelicans, who have plenty of long forwards ahead of him on the depth chart.

The Pistons need 3-and-D types and JRE fits the mold and would be cheap to acquire, as he's currently on a 2-way deal with New Orleans.

He had a good start to his career in OKC but watched his minutes and numbers plummet over the last two seasons even though his shooting efficiency has gone up in a smaller role.

He might be an interesting player to take a flyer on and see if his 38 percent 3-point shooting this season is for real or just a product of a small sample size.

JRE is never likely to be more than a minimum back-of-the-bench guy, but I like his defensive toughness and motor, and if he can keep knocking down 3's, could be a rotation player eventually.

The last player fits more into the "high upside" category of busts.
