Pascal Siakam (Unrestricted free agent, Pacers)

But if the Pistons really wanted to stick it to the Pacers, stealing Pascal Siakam would be the way to do it.

He would give Detroit another legit option at a position of need and would move the needle for them as he did for Indiana, where he averaged over 21 points and nearly eight rebounds per game while shooting 55 percent from the floor and 38 percent from 3-point range.

If Siakam can keep shooting the 3-ball like that and increase his volume a bit, he’d be a great fit with Cade Cunningham.

He is 30 but has been durable for most of his career and is probably the best unrestricted free agent on the market that the Pistons have a legitimate chance to sign.

The best part is it would strike a big blow to the Pacers, who are one of the best teams in the division, as they had to give up a ton to get Siakam in the first place, so they’d lose his production along with the assets it took to get him.

It would almost certainly take a full max deal to pry him away from the Pacers, who have every intention of keeping him. Stealing Siakam would help the Pistons and hurt the Pacers, but is it worth the risk of a full max deal?
