The Detroit Pistons gave their fans the greatest gift they could for Christmas: They took the day off.

But Detroit is back at it tonight, playing the Brooklyn Nets for the second game in a row hoping to break their historic losing streak.

The Pistons will eclipse the single-season record for consecutive losses tonight if they can't get a win at home against the Nets. That would then leave the Celtics on the road before coming home to play the Raptors with the worst losing streak of all time on the line.

Hopefully, the Nets had too much turkey and egg nog and will be a little slow today as the Pistons try to avoid embarrassing themselves any further. Keep in mind that those Process teams were trying to lose and these Pistons aren't which makes their streak even worse.

The Pistons may be getting some guys back from injury, which should help, but only if Monty Williams learns from his past errors when it comes to filling out a starting lineup.

Is Jalen Duren playing tonight? Pistons injuries vs. Nets

The Detroit Pistons did get some good holiday news, as Jalen Duren has been upgraded to probable for tonight's game against the Nets.

Both Killian Hayes and Isaiah Stewart have been listed as probable with an illness and sprained toe, respectively.

With both Duren and Stewart potentially back in the lineup tonight, will Monty Williams go right back to starting two bigs? Almost certainly, so you can expect another slew of turnovers tonight as Williams scratches his head and wonders why there is no spacing.

Monte Morris is still out for the Pistons and likely will be for at least another month.

The Nets will be missing Ben Simmons and Lonnie Walker IV from their rotation.
