The Detroit Pistons have been the butt of a lot of jokes this season.

From the losing streak memes, to sarcastically becoming "America's team" for five minutes, to the Isaiah Stewart situation, the Pistons have almost exclusively gotten attention for all the wrong reasons.

Monty Williams has taken his share of the action, especially recently, as he was called out by Kendrick Perkins after getting salty in the press room about the Knicks running up the score.

Monty has been criticized by fans and media alike for some of his baffling coaching decisions and everyone has an idea of how he can do it better.

Some of the most hilarious advice came from Kenyon Martin Sr.

Kenyon Martin Sr. has unorthodox advice for Monty Williams

Just about every Pistons fan has had advice for Monty Williams on lineups, rotations and how to use the players, but Kenyon Martin Sr. kept it simple. "Cuss more."

He jokingly said that coach Williams (who doesn't curse) needs to unleash on his young players who need a wake-up call. "He needs to go in there and lose his **** on the players, he'll feel a lot better...You need to be able to relay a message sometimes, they understand cuss words! We're playing like ***! We ******* suck! Start rebounding the damn ball!" You can watch the whole clip here.

Martin was just being facetious, as no fiery speeches are going to save a team that is currently 12-61 and on an 8-game losing streak, especially when seven of the players who need to hear it are on the injury list.

While Williams has to bear some of the stain of the 2023-24 season, it certainly isn't all on him, as this was a flawed roster from the beginning, but it's fair to say he hasn't gotten the most out of it.

I doubt any amount of cursing would help, but it would sure feel good, so I support it if Monty Williams wants to break character and unfurl a string of expletives that would make Samuel L. Jackson blush, as most of the rest of us have been doing it all season.
