Latest NBA rumors: Will the Detroit Pistons trade another center?
Trading Isaiah Stewart to the OKC Thunder
The Pistons don't need any more young guards, so I am ruling Tre Mann out of the conversation here and focusing on Ousmane Dieng and draft compensation.
The Thunder have three first-round picks in 2024 and are already loaded with young talent, so it makes sense for them to trade for a guy like Stewart, who can help boost their defense and rebounding without needing many shots.
In this trade, the Thunder get Stewart, a versatile big on a decent contract in exchange for 20-year-old prospect Dieng and veteran point guard Micic who has to be included to make the money work.
Would a package such as this be worth it for the Detroit Pistons to give up the heart of their team?
