5 Most important positional battles for the Pistons next season
Backup point guard
-Jaden Ivey
-Marcus Sasser
-Daniss Jenkins
If we assume Ivey starts and is staggered with Cade, the Pistons will be left with just Marcus Sasser to eat up the remaining minutes at point guard.
Backup point guard is a position I expect the Pistons to address at some point, as Sasser is not a point guard and Ivey still has to prove that he can be.
Detroit could use a steady veteran hand here and they still have two open roster spots, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see another free-agent addition or minor trade before the season starts.
This might be Detroit’s thinnest position, so any injuries would be devastating to their depth chart.
