5 Most important positional battles for the Pistons next season

Backup power forward 

-Simone Fontecchio 

-Isaiah Stewart 

-Paul Reed 

-Ausar Thompson 

-Ron Holland II 

The Detroit Pistons have plenty of players who can back up Tobias Harris at power forward and I expect we’ll see all of these guys there at some point in the season. 

Fontecchio, Thompson and Holland are big wings who can play the four, though they could struggle with bigger matchups on defense while hopefully creating mismatches of their own on the other end. 

Stewart and Reed can both play there, but are really small centers who will play a lot of their minutes at the backup five. 

Bickerstaff has a lot of interesting and diverse options here and can use these guys interchangeably to get more defense or shooting on the floor as needed depending on matchups.
