The Detroit Pistons should trade James Wiseman

This is another addition by subtraction move, as I doubt there is a player with less trade value in the entire NBA than James Wiseman.

I'm sure Weaver won't dump Wiseman for nothing, as it would be a glaring admission that he screwed up big time by trading for him in the first place, which he did. Wiseman is just not an NBA player at this point in his career. Maybe he will be someday, but the Pistons have to stop worrying about a "someday" that may never come and start focusing on the present.

He isn't even a rotation player, so this move isn't going to make them better, but again, it sends a message to everyone else, promotes other players up the line (I'd honestly rather see Stanley Umude play center than Wiseman) and gets rid of more of the dead weight the Pistons have been carrying.

None of these moves are going to save the Pistons season, but at least they would show fans that Troy Weaver does something besides hibernate in between drafts. It's time to start dumping the busts, and trying to put a better team around Cade Cunningham before he starts thinking about leaving himself.

These aren't impact moves, but they can happen right now, and they should.

Next. BIg trade may be a pipe dream for the Pistons. BIg trade may be a pipe dream for the Pistons. dark
