NBA Mock Draft: One prospect "reach" for every lottery team

#12: OKC Thunder select Tristan Da Silva 

Da Silva is a borderline lottery pick for a lot of people and plenty of mocks have him falling to the late first round or even out of it. No team in the NBA is as set up to compete now and into the future as the OKC Thunder, who are already loaded with young talent and still have a ton of draft assets to throw around. 

Don’t be surprised if this is the year the Thunder cash some of them in, put another star guard next to SGA and go for it. They don’t really “need” anything, so grabbing a plug and play guy like Da Silva does make some sense even if there are younger players with higher ceilings available. 

He’s a competitive defender who is lights out on catch-and-shoot 3’s, which sounds like a nice fit for OKC even though he’s nearly 23 years old.
