NBA Mock Draft: One prospect "reach" for every lottery team

#13: Sacramento Kings select Zach Edey 

Edey is one of the most polarizing prospects in the draft, as many believe he can be a star while others think he’s a low-minute backup. 

Even if he falls into the latter category, he could work for the Kings, as they need an upgrade at backup behind Sabonis. Sabonis plays big minutes, so Edey could come in, have a low-minute role and give them efficiency around the rim and shot blocking. 

A center like Edey is a reach in the lottery, but in this draft, he’s one of the safer options for a team that is already good, as he won’t be counted on to be a star and can slot into an instant role that suits him.
