NBA Mock Draft: One prospect "reach" for every lottery team

#5: Washington Wizards select Donovan Clingan 

Like the Detroit Pistons, the Wizards fall three spots in this mock draft, which would be tough for their respective fan bases given what they just endured. 

The Wizards desperately need a young big man given that Marvin Bagley III is currently their starting center and will enter next season on an expiring deal. Clingan is not a reach positionally for the Wizards, but few people have him going in the top five, so he’d be a reach as far as perceived ceiling. 

But Clingan has skills that will translate, as he is a good rim protector who has decent chops around the rim and could eventually develop a shot. He’s also a winner, something the Wizards need.
