Jerami Grant

A lot of fans have talked about a possible reunion with Jerami Grant as well, which makes more sense given that he plays the position of greatest need for the Detroit Pistons.

The Pistons desperately need a starting four and Portland might have some regret about the huge contract they gave Grant back when they were still trying to entice Damian Lillard to stay. Lillard is gone and it's Scoot Henderson's team now, but that doesn't mean Portland is ready to deal Grant.

According to Stein, the Trail Blazers have so far been resistant to any offers for Grant and for his part, Grant says he's perfectly happy staying.

This could all be posturing to try and drive up the price, as Grant isn't an easy sell given his contract, especially for any contending team with a top-heavy payroll already. He's not an All-Star but is a very good player getting paid like one.

We could still see Grant moved, and if he is, I wouldn't completely rule out the Pistons, but for now, it appears he'll stay put.
