Kyle Kuzma

The Wizards can afford to be patient with Kuzma, who is on a team-friendly deal that declines over the next three seasons.

Given his age, experience and skill, Washington can hold out for the best possible deal and set their terms, which they reportedly have.

Not only do they want at least two first-round picks for Kuzma, but they want good ones, reportedly better than the two Toronto received for Pascal Siakam, which makes sense, as Kuzma is locked up for three more seasons at a good price and Siakam will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.

The Pistons could potentially make a deal like this on draft day using their 2024 first-round pick, plus another in 2029, but a top-5 pick would be an awful lot to give up for Kuzma, who like Grant, is a very good player but not an All-NBA talent.

You can never say never when it comes to NBA trades, but for now, it appears these three players are not viable options for the Detroit Pistons.
