The Detroit Pistons are less than a month away from the NBA trade deadline and their intentions are anyone's guess.

They've leaked reports about being buyers, but they could also just shed some of their expiring contracts and wait until the offseason to make the necessary change.

January 15th is another important date in the trade cycle, as players that re-signed under certain conditions will then be eligible to be traded.

Detroit Pistons trade targets after January 15th

Miles Bridges

I'm not a fan of this move, but it wouldn't surprise me, even though Troy Weaver has done nothing but talk about character over the last three seasons. Bridges can play, so if you want to overlook the obvious, he probably wouldn't be that expensive, as he's on an expiring deal and the Hornets would probably be happy to recoup anything for him just to see the back of him.

Coby White

It's hard to see why the Bulls would want to trade White considering he's having a great season, is only 23 and is signed to reasonable deal. The Bulls have also crept into the 9th seed and may fancy their chances to make the playoffs. In other words, this one isn't happening. Who needs shooting anyway?
