Los Angeles Lakers: D’Angelo Russell

Russell would have to opt in to the final year of his deal for the Lakers to be able to trade him and he has little motivation to do so, as he can probably get more on the open market. There is the possibility of a sign and trade, but it’s more likely Russell hits free agency, in which case, the Pistons might have interest.

Miami Heat: Tyler Herro

If Herro hits the market, there will be a lot of teams interested in a certified bucket who has been one of the best high-volume 3-point shooters in the league. He’s also stepped up in the playoffs and has experience even though he is still young. I don’t know why Miami would want to move him to be honest and also don’t know if Detroit would have anything the Heat would want, as they will be looking for players who help them now, so a package based around Isaiah Stewart and Jaden Ivey may not suffice. He’d be an interesting fit with Cade Cunningham and Ausar Thompson.
