Minnesota Timberwolves: Jaden McDaniels

I was surprised to see McDaniels mentioned here and not Karl-Anthony Towns, but the Timberwolves likely will have to cut payroll. If McDaniels hits the market, the Pistons should definitely be interested even though his numbers did dip this season.

He’s the type of player the Pistons need as a stretch four who is a good defender, is young and who has a five-year deal that doesn’t kick in until next year. The Pistons could send back Stewart as a cheaper replacement, though Stewart was actually the better offensive player, McDaniels is an elite defender. Would the extra money be worth it? Could the Pistons find a way to trade someone other than Stewart?

New Orleans Pelicans: Brandon Ingram

We’ve talked about this one enough. Ingram should 100 percent be on the Pistons’ radar, but do they have enough to get him? That’s questionable.
