The Detroit Pistons have been an almost constant disappointment this season on all fronts, from a GM and owner who overpromised and underdelivered, to a coach who looked checked out for most of the season, to players who have learned nothing but how to lose for four years and counting.

The worst part (other than being the worst team in franchise history) is that the team is no closer to having an identity or knowing how their key players fit together. Can the Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey backcourt work? No clue. Can a lineup with four non-shooters in it work in the modern NBA? Probably not, but they haven't played enough together to know. What roles should Isaiah Stewart, Jalen Duren and Marcus Sasser have moving forward? Don't ask me.

Not that it matters. Most of the key players aren't even playing, as the Pistons embrace their annual tradition of running out a rotation designed to lose as late-season injuries decimate a roster that was already terrible.

Detroit will head into the offseason with no direction, no plan and a roster in complete disarray in year four of their Bizarro rebuild. At the very least, the Pistons will have to fill six roster spots in the offseason, and at the most, are looking at another teardown where several of the "core" players are moved for better-fitting parts.

Who will be doing the team building? Will Troy Weaver be back? How about Monty Williams? Is there a single team in the NBA with more question marks?

The Pistons have provided far more questions than answers this season, so I have one about each of the players.

1 Question for every Pistons player as countdown to a busy summer begins

-Evan Fournier
-Troy Brown Jr.
-Malachi Flynn

Can I get you a cab to the airport?

Stanley Umude

Does Umude have a chance to be what the Pistons thought Isaiah Livers was?

Quentin Grimes

Did Troy Weaver purchase more damaged goods or are the Pistons just being cautious with Grimes' knee injury?
