Zach LaVine

We've been over this one about ten times, so I won't belabor the point.

It comes down to this: If the Pistons have to give up nothing but expiring contracts for LaVine, he might be worth it, as he is still an elite scorer and the Pistons might not have any better options.

If Chicago is holding out for one of the Core Four, then Detroit should want no part of this, as LaVine has a lot of money owed to him and is currently hurt. He's also never won, so the pros and cons of LaVine are obvious.

Of this list, Grimes and Toppin make the most sense, though Grimes may be hard to pry away and Toppin's contract makes him a risk as he could flee in free agency.
