5 Sleeper trade targets the Detroit Pistons could pursue
Norman Powell
The Clippers are another team that might have to shed payroll, especially if they end up re-signing Paul George and James Harden. Powell will be 31 in May and still has two guaranteed years left on his deal after this one at $19 and 20 million.
Powell is a professional bucket-getter who is shooting nearly 44 percent on over five 3-point attempts per game, a skill the Pistons could certainly use. He could be a floor spreader next to Cade Cunningham or come off the bench in the "Alec Burks" role.
The Clippers would mostly be looking for salary relief in exchange for Powell, so the Pistons might be able to get him on the cheap.
