Duncan Robinson

Almost all of the same things apply to Duncan Robinson, who could be a cap casualty for the Miami Heat, who have a lot of guaranteed money tied up in Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro and Terry Rozier.

Robinson's contract no longer looks as bad as it once did, as he's had a very good season and only has one more fully guaranteed year left at $19 million, so he's not likely to be as cheap.

The Heat could also decide to move Herro, who would reap more assets but his scoring and playmaking would be more difficult to replace.

Khris Middleton

It would be just like the Pistons to give away a good player for nothing, watch him become an All-Star for another team and then bring him back after he was out of his prime, which would be the case if they were to trade for Middleton.

Middleton can still score and is still hitting 38 percent of his 3-pointers on high volume, but his defense has declined and he hasn't been able to stay on the floor. He's also owed $31 and 34 million over the next two seasons, money the Bucks will need to shed if they want to significantly improve their roster. The Pistons might actually be able to get an asset for taking on Middleton now but that's a lot of money for a guy who has played 86 games combined in the last two seasons.
