The Detroit Pistons recent rough patch has offered a sense of doubt among the fanbase and the league in terms of the team's postseason chances.

As April quickly approaches, most teams are gearing up towards a playoff push and using the final stretch of the season to try out certain rotations that could make a difference when postseason play begins.

Fortunately for Detroit, there's still plenty of time to turn things around and get back on track prior to what the team hopes to be a deep playoff run after a dominant regular season up to this point.

On Tuesday, the Pistons snapped their four-game losing streak with a dominant 138-100 win against the Brooklyn Nets, proving that the latest woes can easily be put in the past.

And if Detroit’s huge win wasn’t enough to restore confidence in J.B. Bickerstaff’s squad, perhaps the comments from one of the most prestigious sports agents in the game, Rich Paul, will.

Rich Paul isn't worried about Pistons' struggles

In a recent episode of the Game Over podcast, Paul shared that he doesn't have any concerns about the Pistons struggles as of late, citing the long season and absence of Cade Cunningham as a reason to still be confident in the team turning it around.

"I think a four-game losing streak, naturally fans panic - I don't panic about a four-game losing streak during the course of an 82-game season," Paul said. "1. They're missing [Amen] Thompson, which is huge. Another one of those games Cade [Cunningham] did not play."

Rich Paul continued discussing the Detroit Pistons’ recent losing streak, claiming that “the only way to truly evaluate a four-game losing streak is by being in that locker room.”

Considering Paul's one of the best basketball minds around the league, courtesy to his relationships with the top players, head coaches and front offices, it's safe to say that the agent's thoughts should be taken seriously.

The Pistons aren't worried either

There's plenty of time left for the Pistons to get back on track and put the finishing touches on what many would consider an already successful season.

Detroit has the proper mix of young players and veterans on the roster, an experienced head coach in J.B. Bickerstaff and an MVP candidate in Cunningham, there's surely more reasons to be confident in the Pistons than to be concerned.

Moving forward, fans should be prepared to rally behind the top seed in the Eastern Conference and worry less about a rough patch that likely won't mean much when the playoffs come around.
