Tobias Harris: A

What can you say? Harris looked great in his three games, the exact type of efficient, functional NBA player the Pistons have lacked for years. He shot the ball well from in and outside the arc, made the right passes and was active on defense. In short, he’s providing exactly what the Pistons need him to. I like Harris to have a big season, partly to shove it in the faces of Philly fans that booed him out the door.

Isaiah Stewart: B+

Stewart didn’t shoot the ball much, but he hit 61 percent overall and 42 percent from long range, so it was a good start for the big man, who looks far more comfortable as a backup center. He was a difference maker off the bench with his energy and defense and has shown some new wrinkles to his offensive game, namely making sharp cuts to the rim and doing a little more with the ball, though I still grimace every time he dribbles.
