Carmelo on trade: ‘I don’t see that happening’

Carmelo Anthony might have played his final game as a member of the Denver Nuggets. If it was, it wasn’t exactly one to remember: 8 points, 5 rebounds 4 assists and plenty of boos at the Pepsi Center.

But Anthony doesn’t think it will be his last game in the powder blues. Asked afterwards about the trade speculation swirling around the NBA, Anthony apparently said, “I don’t see it happening.” And asked if it was his final game in a Nuggets uniform, he said, “”Not at all. Not at all. Not at all. Not at all.”

Step back from the ledge, Pistons fans. I’m sure he was just trying to be as diplomatic and evasive as possible. But until it happens …
