Pistons to sign Josh Smith to four-year, $56 million contract

"Josh Smith has agreed to a four-year, $56 million deal with the Detroit Pistons, league sources told Yahoo! Sports."
The best free agent left on the market chose the Pistons.
Is he a perfect fit in Detroit? No. Does his contract come at a bargain price for the Pistons (the initial figure leaked in Pistons’ contracts is often lower than the actual salary)? No.
But could this all work out? Absolutely, because Smith is so darned talented.
