– Detroit was very high on small forward Khris Middleton when they selected him 39th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft. Dumars called him a “first round talent” in his annual post draft press conference, but we have not seen enough from Middleton to fully dissect his early career with Detroit.

Middleton played an average of 17.6 minutes per game in his 27 appearances last season, and Piston fans saw flashes of what could be a very valuable role player down the line. Although his stats don’t jump off the page, Middleton averaged just over 6 points per game and shot over 32% from deep. it will take time for Khris to develop, but he has the potential to have a long NBA career if he reaches his potential.
