A couple of weeks ago PistonPowered gave fans a look at an early big board for the Detroit Pistons as they look poised to secure at top five (possibly even a top three) draft pick in the 2015 NBA draft.

With another two weeks of college (and overseas) basketball behind us it’s time to reevaluate our board. While most names on this week’s edition may be familiar, there are a couple of new entrants and we’ve added a watch list for players who just missed the list, but are worth keeping an eye out on.

1. Emmanuel Mudiay, Guangdong (China), PG, 6-5/200, Freshman

Stats: 31.8 MIN/G, 18.89 PPG, REB/G 6.56, AST/G 6.33 FG % 49.3 FG3 % 32.1 FT % 58.6

Mudiay hasn’t played since an ankle injury three weeks ago, but there’s nothing that’s changed his draft stock as he remains the best point guard in the class and a serious candidate for the Pistons in 2015.

Mudiay may not be a great jump shooter, something the 2014 Pistons have desperately lacked, but he’s a point guard of the mold of John Wall, Russell Westbrook, and Derrick Rose, and would be an immediate upgrade over everything currently on the Pistons roster. With Andre Drummond, the Pistons will look to build around his talents and what better way than to pair him with a point guard who can feed him the ball and set up the outside shooters in Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Jodie Meeks, and Kyle Singler.
