Final. 89. 93. 69. 64

Pistons. D.J. AUGUSTIN. F. Augustin (0-for-7, four assists, three turnovers) wasn’t really looking for his shot, which was fine. He didn’t find it, anyway.. PG

F. Caldwell-Pope did a nice job getting to the rim early, both on hard dribble drives and off-ball cuts. He just didn’t finish well once he got there. Later, he shot – and missed – more from outside, scoring four points on 2-of-9 shooting. This wasn’t his sharpest off-ball defense, either.. SG. Pistons. KENTAVIOUS CALDWELL-POPE

SF. Pistons. KYLE SINGLER. F. The most noteworthy thing Singler did was remove <a href=

Pistons. GREG MONROE. B. It wasn’t pretty, but but Monroe (20 points on 8-of-15 shooting, with 11 rebounds) worked for what he provided on both ends. Monroe’s work on the glass salvaged some really dead-end possessions. He wasn’t the problem. The issue was how reliant the Pistons were on him.. PF

ANDRE DRUMMOND. D-. Drummond’s defensive attentiveness came and went. His post-ups were rough, and he was sloppy with the ball. Foul trouble held him to just 10 minutes, and he finished with six points on seven shots, seven rebounds and three turnovers.. C. Pistons

B-. Meeks (19 points on 4-of-16 shooting, 10-of-11 from the free-throw line) had a knack for getting the Pistons easy points when they were desperate. Unfortunately, they were desperate far too often for Meeks to keep pace.. SG. Pistons. JODIE MEEKS

Dinwiddie (six points on 1-of-6 shooting, two assists, one turnover) continues to make progress since entering the rotation, but it’s still rough sledding. He’s doing a better job penetrating on pick-and-rolls, which gives him a chance to make something positive happen. With a block and steal, he showed some decent defense, but second-year point guard Michael Carter-Williams pulled veteran moves on him, which illustrates Dinwiddie’s challenge.. PG. Pistons. SPENCER DINWIDDIE. F

A-. Jerebko (10 points on 4-of-6 shooting, three rebounds,  two blocks and a steal in 19 minutes) provided a spark on both ends. Compared to his teammates, he was moving double time.. PF. Pistons. JONAS JEREBKO

Pistons. CARON BUTLER. C-. Butler grabbed seven rebounds, which surprised me. More surprising: This is his fourth seven-rebound game of the season. When did he get so active on the glass?. SF

ANTHONY TOLLIVER. D-. Tolliver tried to move the ball, getting two assists, but his game is scoring, and he missed all three of his shots.. PF. Pistons

C+. Anthony provided a defensive boost when he first entered the game late in the third quarter, mostly by providing a pair of fresh legs. If relying on a 32-year-old center for fresh legs sound like an indictment of the Pistons, it is.. C. Pistons. JOEL ANTHONY

Pistons. STAN VAN GUNDY. D-. <a href=. Head Coach
