Who will be on the board when the Detroit Pistons select at 18? While pick 1-17 are far from set, we are starting to get a good idea of who will be on the board by the time the Pistons are on the clock.

who will be on the board when the Detroit Pistons are on the clock? Medical results and individual workouts have shifted the board a bit, but we have an idea of who the top 17 picks probably will be.

Obviously there will be 40+ players on the board when the Pistons select. The goal here is to highlight the players that the Pistons will be interested and potentially draft–not ALL of the players that should be on the board.

With that in mind, here are five guys that I think the Pistons will strongly consider that should be on the board. The fifth–or least likely to be drafted will be a “wild card” player, or a player that might fall.

The players are listed in likelihood of being picked with five being the least likely and one being the most likely. Obviously the “wild card” is just that–a player who shouldn’t fall, but just might due to various concerns.

**Editor’s Note: There could be some movement between now and the draft due to trades–which could impact who is and isn’t there, particularly teams with multiple first round selections ahead of the Pistons like the Boston Celtics and Phoenix Suns for example.
