Henry Ellenson to start tonight for the Detroit Pistons in the Palace of Auburn Hills swan song against the Washington Wizards.

The Detroit Pistons will be playing their final game at the Palace of Aurburn Hills tonight.

It is sad.

What is not sad is that rookie Henry Ellenson will be getting another start tonight for the Pistons after coming off the bench last night against the Memphis Grizzlies.

I’m excited that Ellenson has resumed a starting role. Frankly, I am a little surprised he didn’t get to retain his spot last night, though it is evident Stan Van Gundy was just trying to get all the looks he good at his bench.

Mission accomplished, the nucleus of Reggie Bullock, Boban Marjanovic, Darrun Hilliard, and Stanley Johnson looked really good.

Tobias Harris also thrived in a featured look with the starters.

Ellenson played well, but again didn’t shoot the ball with much consistency. Hopefully that changes tonight against the Wizards.

I also hope we see more sharp shooting from Reggie Bullock and Darrun Hilliard. That was a fun display they put on.

I know we are rooting for this team to tank, but it would be nice to see the Pistons go ahead and close out their last game in the Palace on the right note.
