Man, defense. The Eastern Conference is full blown gritty 90s defense right now. The Pacers played their hearts out last year with no stars, and almost pulled off the miracle upset against the Heat. Will Danny Granger be traded? Will Paul George take the next step and become consistently dangerous? A not much heralded signing in CJ Watson may pay dividends as Watson’s one true passion is shooting long two pointers, which he has in the past been pretty decent at. For a team that was right there but tragically unable to score at times, something as simple as a reliable bench weapon could be huge. Hold on, I’m also seeing something else…Oh yeah. David West and Roy Hibbert are going to scowl a lot and score about twenty two points a game between them.
