Pelicans deny Joe Dumars job offer

I’m backing off my “surprised if the Pelicans don’t hire Dumars” stance, but this is won’t end the speculation. The Pelicans – probably purposefully – didn’t say they wouldn’t hire Dumars.

Still, they could have ignored this is a Dumars announcement was imminent. That they threw cold water on the momentum says something. How much? We’ll probably get more clues in the next couple weeks, but this one reduces the perceived probability – but is far from decisive.
